Heading into day two of the High School Fishing World Finals, Ryder’s team was in first place. In fact, they had the biggest bag of the tournament with 11lb, 11oz for three fish. Ultimately, they finished 12th place and received a scholarship offer from Kentucky Christian University.
During the High School National Fishing Championship, Ryder’s team was the day one leader with biggest bag of the tournament at 11lbs, 11oz. They finished in sixth place out of over 100 teams.
Out of fifty teams for the 2019 FLW Central Open on Lake of the Ozarks, Ryder finished in 5th place. This qualified him for the 2020 FLW National Championship.
Ryder finished 2nd place on Wilson Lake at the 2018 TBF State Championship.
Ryder won the 2017 TBF State Championship on Milford Lake. This qualified him for the 2017 National Youth Fishing Championship.
